I would like to buy a sailboat in Polynesia. I am German but live in Polynesia. I am new to the sailing world and have some questions. The boat had a US flag and was already “papeetizee”. What would you recommend to do? Register it here, i.e. at DPAM? Does this mean it has a Polynesian flag afterwards? How long does this usually take and how high are the fees? Thanks a lot!
